Insurance, is a touchy subject. Everyone, barring the student types and under 21′s of this country will probably have some form of insurance, some sort of premium they pay month after month all their lives with no need to ever make a claim. BUT, and its a big but, that one time when some ‘nutter’ runs into the back of you at a traffic lights or you get burgled by someone who took a fancy to your new flatscreen you will no doubt hear this line:
“sorry sir, but your policy does not cover you for this”
To which my reply would be, infact probably best I dont put that on the internet. But it is safe to say that the insurance companies in the UK pay out absolute millions and millions of pounds every year to those people who really do have all the cover they require, those people who were clever enough to read the small print and not flunk on the extra £1 per annum premium.
Needless to say that Insurance is vital, it is the be all and end all if that love one passes away, or your car is written off, just read the small print and make sure you are honest on your application as if your not you cna be sure that there will be something with a sting in the tale.
I watched a film recently, Saw I think it was where an insurance comapny had what they call the ‘bear pit’, this is the selection of people who’s job it was to find flaws in your claim, find reasons how they could get away without paying. I tmade me think and wonder if this was really happening, I wouldnt mind tennor each way that it really is.
